About

Hi there! My name is Alexis [she/her], and I'm a project manager and operations expert. I have a particular affinity for working with women-owned businesses, Latinx organizations, and startups that are making a positive difference in the world. I'm also incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship, women's empowerment, public health, and the intersection of technology and feminism (#femtech). I believe in the power of these fields to create real change, and I'm excited to contribute to that in any way that I can. Outside of work, I enjoy travel, attending concerts, and spending time with my two pugs.

Background

• Born and raised in sunny, Southern California!
• I have a Bachelor’s in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton (2020), and a Master’s in Public Health w/ an emphasis in Health Education & Promotion (2021).
• Pivoted from a corporate setting into full-time graduate school and entrepreneurship in 2020. I’ve used the years as a solopreneur to grow my networking skills, skills in project management, and developing my lists of favorite business tools to work with.

My Areas of Interest

• Workflow Optimization- Working 1:1 to simplify and streamline internal processes. Then, we plug in tech tools and automations where possible.
• Effective Project Management- Overseeing projects from beginning to completion. I focus on continuous communication, improving existing processes, and building relationships with stakeholders.
• Business Tool Specialization- Expert in audit existing systems, provide assistance in optimizing tools, and identify the most suitable tool(s) to be used.
